As the countdown continues towards the Northern Ireland Beauty Excellence Awards 2024, it’s time to shine a spotlight on the esteemed judging panel, featuring both fresh faces and returning royalty who bring a wealth of expertise, innovation, and passion to the table.
Leading our judges is none other than Katrina Doran, global makeup and skincare industry guru. When Katrina isn’t on tv or film sets, she shares her beauty tips on Instagram’s. With over 25 years of experience in beauty writing, she’s a passionate advocate for professional treatments and the beauty industry, having explored top products worldwide. Katrina returns for her fourth consecutive year, ready to uphold the highest standards of excellence and integrity in the judging process.
Joining Katrina is new judge Yolanda Cooper, a true trailblazer in the industry. Known in the industry as an Inventor, Trichologist, Serial Entrepreneur, and Environmental Activist, Yolanda has garnered global recognition for her visionary approach to beauty. As the Founder and CEO of The Conscious Beauty Group, she oversees a portfolio of companies dedicated to sustainable beauty practices, including WE ARE PARADOXX, MINI HUMANS, and SUPERNOVA.
Next, we have Pamela Kennedy, innovative entrepreneur and the driving force behind the International Beauty Distribution & Training Academy. With a background rooted in Beauty Therapy and Nail Technology, Pamela’s journey has been defined by her unwavering dedication to excellence and innovation. Her pioneering approach towards sugaring on the NI beauty scene and co-founding of the award-winning Tan Brush, is a testament to her passion for creating groundbreaking products. Pamela’s love for education and empowerment has cemented her status as a respected figure in the industry, inspiring professionals to continually strive for greatness in their careers.
Also joining the panel are sisters Liz and Nikki Dwyer. Liz, an award-winning journalist and Beauty Editor with over two decades of experience, has made waves in the media industry with her unparalleled expertise. From hosting Extreme Beauty on TV3 to becoming editor for publications such as IMAGE magazine and The Irish Times, Liz has had a massive impact on the beauty scene. Together with her sister Nikki, they founded Future Beauty Show, and annual event dedicated to educating the public on aesthetics medicine, tweakments, cosmetic dentistry and plastic surgery. Their latest venture, podcast “Fess Up”, is aimed at promoting transparency in the beauty industry, asking celebs to finally “fess up” the truth behind their procedures.
These new faces will join our returning judges who will bring their own wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Industry icon, Alyson Hogg MBE, founder and former CEO of Vita Liberata; Ingrid Graham, nail expert and Renew Beauty, BioSculpture and Elim Educator; and Dr Martina Collins, Principal Dentist and owner of Martina Dental & Skin Clinic, all of whom are back to lend their insights and wisdom to this year’s judging process.
With such an incredible panel of judges, the 2024 NI Beauty Excellence Awards are set to celebrate the very best in beauty, hair and aesthetics!
